Karen discovered her love of flowers when she began to plan her wedding. She spent two years working for a floral designer, where she learned about all the facets of floral design, organization, care, and attention to detail. After three years of experience as a freelance floral designer, she decided to start Huckleberry Karen Designs and branch out on her own. Karen also enjoys teaching and sharing her knowledge about flowers. She hosts popular Do It Yourself workshops three times a year, where brides and fellow flower enthusiasts can join her and learn how to design and create beautiful bouquets, corsages, boutonnières and arrangements.
